Proprietary/Crypto derivatives/Systematic
Markets are measurement problems. Solve them with us.
Mansa Strategies is a research-driven proprietary trading firm. We build systematic strategies in crypto derivatives and the software that runs them. We trade exclusively with balance-sheet capital, bearing 100% of the risk.
Researchers, engineers and operators who take systems from first principles to production. Venues, banks and providers who want a counterparty that keeps careful records. We publish how we work, so you can judge the standard before you write.
Two ways in. Both begin with a conversation.
Some people arrive wanting to do the work. Some firms arrive wanting to work with us. Either way, the standard is the same, and it is written down on this site before you ask.
Own the whole problem.
Find the idea, try to break it, build the system that runs it, and answer for it when it is live. Every role is full-time and on-site in Dubai, and the one-day assignment is paid either way.
Explore open positions → For partnersA counterparty that keeps records.
Venues, banks, and market-data and infrastructure providers. Every order traces to the decision that produced it, and we reconcile against your records, not our expectation of them. Onboarding and due diligence reach a person, not a queue.
Partner routes →Four commitments we hold ourselves to.
They decide what we build, who we hire and whom we work with. Controls are written down and run in continuous integration, and a change that weakens one fails rather than warns.
-
01
Evidence before belief.
A result is wrong until it survives: purged cross-validation, walk-forward testing, and a count of every trial we ran.
-
02
Costs come first.
Fees, spread, documented slippage and funding are modelled before a result is believed. A strategy that only works gross is not a strategy.
-
03
Built in-house.
Market data, research tooling, backtesting, execution, risk and monitoring. Nothing in the order path we did not write.
-
04
Our capital, our risk.
Every position is the firm’s own capital. There is no fund and no mandate, so when a control is weak, we are the ones who live with it.
The work is the loop, not the idea.
We trade perpetual futures: instruments that track a price, never expire, and exchange a funding payment between long and short every few hours. Every idea goes round this loop, and most leave it early. That is the loop doing its job.
- 01HypothesisState what should happen, and why.
- 02TestTry to break it on recorded data.
- 03SimulateExecution with fees, slippage and funding.
- 04DeployInto a system we wrote and can trace.
- 05MeasureAgainst the venue’s record, not our own.
- 06Revise or retireMost ideas end here. That is the point.
What we are prepared to state.
Each row traces to a record we keep. We do not manage outside money, licence the software, or disclose what we trade.
